Oral History Project: Dealing with the Aftermath of National Socialism
Interviews with Eyewitnesses on Dealing with National Socialism
Since 2011, the work group Zeitzeugenprojekt (eye witness project) has been conducting interviews with former and current Tübingen citizens who lived in Tübingen in the post-war years between 1945 and the 1980s. The project's goal is to interview eyewitnesses from different social milieus and parts of society with regards to dealing with National Socialism in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. The interviews are audiovisually taped and archived. So far, more than a dozen talks with famous and not-so-famous people have been conducted; they are joined by new ones each year. The Geschichtswerkstatt is highly interested in interview partners and is able to provide interview excerpts to anyone interested if the interviewees give their consent. Please contact the Geschichtswerkstatt via telephone 0049-7071-763555 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
